Prompted by the writings of Ann Voskamp, I was on the alert to look for a gift having to do with water. Not so long into the day I was playing around with a sprinkler head, adjusting it, trying to get the water to go where I wanted it to go. After testing the sprinkler, I turned it off.

Today is my birthday. Historically it’s been a miserable day for me with a past marked by really bad stuff happening on THE DAY. So bad that the details aren’t boring. HOW CAN YOU REALLY KNOW GOD?

When I found out that eternal life is actually experienced and lived in knowing God as Father and as Jesus (See Secret Ideas – 1, John 17:3) I was intrigued and kind of excited.
